This week we celebrate 2016’s final graduating classes from our Culinary Arts and our Hospitality & Tourism Programs!! This batch of graduates is ready for a fresh start in 2017 with new skills and certifications to move to employment!

The Culinary Arts graduates have learned about proper preparation, storage, and serving techniques for different food types. The students are ready to enter the workforce with the ServSafe Food Handler certification awarded by the National Restaurant Association!

The Hospitality & Tourism graduates are ready to serve in a variety of roles at hotels, businesses and museums across the District. Next year’s visitors will be greeted by students who have been nationally certified by the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute!

We are proud of each student for their commitment to job training and education. As members of the UPO family, we will continue to work with them on securing employment, managing finances, and moving toward self-sufficiency! #SheisUPO #HeisUPO #MovetoEducation #MovetoEmployment!
