Comprehensive Treatment Center

The Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) is an outpatient Opioid Treatment program that provides medically-managed treatment to opiate dependent persons. CTC is a provider of substance abuse services under a Human Care Provider Agreement (CHOICE) with DOH/APRA and a contract with the Veterans Administration (VA).

The Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) Workforce Development Stimulus Project was established to afford its patient population the opportunity to receive job readiness training, job retention services, and support services to eliminate health barriers to employment.

Job Readiness Training

  • Goals setting
  • Communication skills
  • Interview techniques
  • Effective resume writing
  • Dress for success
  • Employment application forms
  • Participants gain the knowledge of how to find a job, how to network and how to arrange an interview.

Job Retention Services

Participants have an increased awareness of workplace culture, requirements, and acceptable workplace behavior through individual counseling and workshops; and are provided guidance on how to talk to employers, coworkers, and customers.

Eliminate Health Barriers

CTC provides education and outreach opportunities to patients in the areas of HIV/AIDs, nutrition, diet and exercise.
