Weatherization Operations

UPO Weatherization Operations Unit through a contractual agreement with the DC Department of Environment provides energy efficient measures for qualified low-income District of Columbia residents. The UPO Home Improvement business provides weatherization and home improvement services to all DC residents at an affordable rate.

UPO's Weatherization Program provides energy saving measures to clients who have been approved by the DC Department of Energy. The staff currently consists of one crew chief and two Weatherization laborers who are all graduates of UPO's Weatherization Training Center. Staff members are currently working on two multifamily projects in the SE and NW regions of Washington DC.
