POSITION: Proposal Resource Developer

Brief Description: Development of persuasive documents for submission to potential funders, production of program reports, identification of funding opportunities and tracking progress of proposals. Research background materials (market, data and documents and previous proposals, etc.) to obtain relevant information and data, and prepare proposals, business plans and marketing protocol, concepts and strategies; participate in strategic plan development, community needs assessments and project design based on the mission, vision and strategic direction of the Agency; interview management, program and support staff to gather pertinent facts, experience, and investigate and understand industry environment, standards and regulations; identify opportunities for the development of resources, programs and projects; review guidelines, regulations and policies impacting program and Agency operations and design appropriate projects and responses; research, write, and produce proposal sections, marketing materials, presentations, statements of qualifications, fact sheets, and other documents for marketing UPO and winning contracts and new projects.
Minimum Qualification: Master’s degree in English, Social Services, Humanities or a related field; 5 years experience in resource development, community planning, public relations, partnership development or related experience, experience in direct service provision preferred. Any combination of education and experience; ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, complete work assignments accurately and timely, organize data and other information; ability to develop and maintain effective working relationship with Board, management, other personnel, volunteer groups and residents; ability to make effective public presentation; ability to prepare presentation materials that are clear and concise; excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills; proficient with MS Office Suite; detail oriented and able to take a project from concept to completion; good problem solving skills; must be able to work some nights and weekends.
This position is NOT in the collective bargaining unit.
