Petey Greene

The Ralph Waldo "Petey" Greene Community Service Center assists DC residents in reaching their desired level of self-sufficiency by placing an emphasis on family strengthening. The center serves the neighborhoods of Congress Heights, Washington Highlands; Henson's Creek; and Barry Farms in southeast Washington, DC.

The Ralph Waldo "Petey" Greene Community Service Center is named in honor of the former UPO employee and local broadcaster who was an inspiration to many community residents. Mr. Greene died in 1983.
