POSITION: Shift Coordinator
DEPARTMENT: Shelter Hotline Transport-Community Programs
BULLETIN No: 010408
SALARY RANGE: $25,350 to $27,300
OPENING DATE: 04/07/2008

Brief Description: Assist with the overall coordination and day-to-day operational activities of the program. Responsible for attending scheduled meetings monthly, weekly report, staff scheduling and quality control program accountability, and fleet management. Assist in training of the operators to dispatch vans to transport homeless clients to an emergency shelter. Distribute and receive materials for circulation. Screen and assist individuals requiring assistance finding shelter for families.

Minimum Qualification: High school diploma or equivalent; 2 years experience in dispatching; working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; ability to work well with people; demonstrate good written and oral communication skills and ability to deal effectively with the public.


This position is NOT in the collective bargaining unit.
